K. Netra Reddy, the very first Under 18 MLA of SVIS had the honour of representing the school in a session addressed by the eminent Chief guest, Dr. Jay Prakash Narayan. Our student would like to share her thoughts on the same.
Ugadi Special Assembly
Ugadi marks the New Year for many communities and beginning of a new lunar cycle. It is observed with traditional rituals, feasting, and cultural performances across many regions of India. It signifies renewal, hope, and the joy of new beginnings.
Eid-ul-Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast is an occasion synonymous with happiness unity, and faith holding immense significance in the hearts of millions around the globe. On this day families and friends come together to share festive meals exchange gifts and encourage acts of charity and kindness.
Compassion in action- Few students of SVIS, Hyderabad along with Ms. Manju Bhagtani showed compassion by distributing glucose water and buttermilk to the slum dwellers and labourers working on highway. The students realized how difficult it is to work in this scorching heat.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar – Special Assembly
To commemorate Ambedkar Jayanthi, Rabindranath Tagore house conducted a very informative special assembly in Sanctuary on 12 April 2024.To start with, a mindful thought was presented as food for thought, followed by a short speech on the teachings of the ‘Father of the Constitution.
In a melodious celebration of their uniqueness, the students of Grades 7 – 12 presented a Solo Singing and Instrumental Competition themed around “Be Unique”.
Ram Navami is a Hindu festival commemorating the birth of Shri Ramachandra in Ayodhya during the Treta Yuga.
SVIS family feels glad and proud to share that our students bagged the top 2 prizes out of 3 in the Smart Mobility Hackathon conducted by BML Munjal University, Haryana partnered with PAGE Institute Hyderabad.
It gives us immense pleasure and pride to share that our students participated in RYLA – an Inter school competition held at Sherwood Public School, organized by the Rotary Club Of Cantonment Secunderabad. The competition comprised of different categories.
