REDUCE- REUSE- RECYCLE BEST OUT OF WASTE
In an era where we are all trying to save the environment, the most important thing at the back of our mind is the three R’s. Reduce Reuse and Recycle. Making the best out of waste is a good way to protect the environment as it reduces waste and converts it into useful things.
The students of Sadhu Vaswani International School displayed their best work out of waste products and showcased their creativity and protect the environment.

Handwriting and Calligraphy Competition
Intra-Class Handwriting Competition was organized for the students of Grades 4 and 5 and Calligraphy competition for Grade 6. The students participated in it with a lot of zeal and excitement. The objective of the competition was to motivate students to enhance their writing skills. It provided a platform for the students to showcase their writing competency and develop their fine motor skills. The main theme was 4 C’s of our school.

It brings us immense pleasure to announce that T. Sivaji of Grade IV C has achieved an entry in the Telugu book of Records and International Book of records for reciting 21 Two digit Multiplication Tables from 30X10=300 to 10×1=10 in 4 mins 24 seconds and 41 dodge mode with blindfolded within 1 minute 58 seconds.

To celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar, Father of the Indian Constitution, a special assembly was organized by Rabindranath Tagore House on 13th April by junior students.

Ambedkar Jayanti Special Assembly was held to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar, Father of the Indian Constitution, by Rabindranath Tagore House on 13th April by senior students. A skit on Dr. Amedkar’s life was performed enthusiastically by students.

Students visited the LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF TELANGANA
The students of Grade 9, K. Jhana Sree Hasya and K. Netra Reddy along with their Mentor, Ms. K.Shriyah visited the LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF TELANGANA to participate in the under 18 election campaign set up by Whatsmygoal team.
This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to have a hands on experience in understanding the inner workings of Assembly and politics. Our students did a commendable job by pitching for Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and Ministry for Enviornment. The choice of Ministry by students was unique and the pitches showed their deep rooted concern for the betterment of society around them.

The experience of visiting the Radio Mirchi Studio at Kukatpally, Hyderabad was itself a huge opportunity. Chethna K. Genius and Esha Mehta from Grade 10 were selected for the workshop conducted by Radio Mirchi Hyderabad. It was a great experience for the students to learn and get inspired from celebrity RJs like RJ Gaurika, RJ Shezzi and the Production Head of Mirchi 95 Ms. Vaishali Mishra. The interactive session and the Q/A session helped them learn and get a more detailed picture of how the frequency of Mirchi 95 works.

CBSE has taken a good initiative in adolescence education. A Peer educator program has been started wherein every school should have a team of 4 peer educators and a counsellor who aim at the betterment of social and mental well being of adolescents.

ATAL community week
ATAL community week was celebrated in our school. We invited students and their parents to participate and explore various 21st century skills and resources like DIY kits and other activities available in the ATAL Tinkering Lab. Parents had a wonderful experience and were impressed with the creativity shown by the students. It was an innovative program where our tinkerers learnt through fun and exciting experiments.

Eid Celebration
Eid was celebrated at Sadhu Vaswani International School Hyderabad to enlighten the students about the spirit of festival, symbolizing the unity of our Muslim brethren. In our multicultural society we need to instill and enforce the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion, and solidarity in our children.A celebration in the form of special assemblies is an effort to sensitize students towards living in harmony in a diverse society.

SKATING RINK inauguration
SVIS witnessed the inauguration of yet another infrastructural development in the form of a SKATING RINK.The inauguration was done by our Chairman, Dr.Harish Mirchandani in the inspiring presence of Mr.Tarun Bahirwani, Principal, Ms.Arpitha Grandhi, incharges and the entire Sports team.
Spectacular performances by the young skaters of SVIS marked the beginning of the rink.

Feeding birds means feeding yourself! Birds are part of nature and feeding nature is nothing but feeding yourself!”
The simple act of putting out a bird feeder and keeping it clean and full can greatly improve the chances that birds and their offspring will survive. The students of Grades 7-8 showcased their compassion towards the birds by making beautiful bird feeders which they plan to use during the vacations to feed the birds.

Commemorating World Earth Day on 22-04-2023, the students of Grades IV & V participated in the Hanging Planters competition. The aim of this competition was to promote the idea of conserving Mother Earth and its resources for future generations. The main theme of this competition was put the 3R’s into practice, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Coco Planters Competition
With an idea to promote the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle on World Earth Day, the students of Grade VI made beautiful coco planters using Coconut shells. The idea behind this competition was to encourage students to conserve natural resources and protect our planet from toxic waste and to help create an eco friendly environment.

English day is celebrated
English day is celebrated on 23rd April across the world to mark the birth and death Anniversary of profound English dramatist, novelist and play writer Williams Shakespeare.
It was celebrated in Sadhu Vaswani International School with great fervour.
The event started with the school prayer by the choir followed by thought and the significance of English day.

Silverzone Olympaid for STEM

‘Reading is to the mind , what exercise is to the body ‘. A Yoga session was conducted by Ms Swathi Sompura, an experienced and enthusiastic yoga trainer, for the teachers of SVIS Hyderabad. She showed some easy asanas which teachers can do at home and take care of their physical fitness during holidays.
